FAQ

  • Who are you and what’s your background?

I’m a creative director and storyteller currently based in Vancouver. My journey began with nonprofit work in Pakistan and evolved into full-scale media production across Canada, helping brands tell stories that matter.

  • What kind of clients do you typically work with?

I collaborate with a mix of nonprofits, startups, Islamic organizations, and purpose-driven businesses. Most projects revolve around emotionally intelligent storytelling, community impact, and meaningful brand narratives.

  • What does your work usually involve?

The creative process blends visual production, brand identity development, and strategy. Whether it’s a single campaign or an ongoing content partnership, the goal is always to create something timeless and deeply resonant.

  • Do you take on event or documentary projects?

Yes. I’ve covered everything from cultural festivals and keynote events to intimate brand documentaries. Each shoot is rooted in anticipation, intention, and attention to emotion—not just visuals.

  • What is Aflak Media?

Aflak is a creative platform built to amplify purpose through media. It started as an experiment and is now a full-service content studio working with clients like Bayyinah, Bassem Youssef, and international festivals.

  • Can I book you for a speaking session or workshop?

Absolutely. I teach storytelling workshops, lead creative keynotes, and occasionally offer mentorship. Use the Let’s Talk form to reach out.

  • Do you offer creative project management services?

Absolutely. Project management is a core part of how I work. I manage full-scale creative projects—campaigns, productions, and brand storytelling—from pre-production to delivery. With experience as a 1st Assistant Director and certification in Asana, I blend on-set leadership with structured workflows to help teams execute with clarity and purpose.

  • What else can you help with beyond media and project work?

Alongside media production and project management, I bring a broad toolkit built from real-world leadership. I’ve taught photography courses, designed brand strategies, scaled nonprofit operations, and led client engagement from idea to execution.

Whether it’s teaching workshops, consulting on storytelling, training creative teams, or organizing events for thousands, I’ve worn many hats—each one tied to purpose and precision. If it involves building systems, coaching teams, or telling stories that serve people, I likely have hands-on experience doing it.
